SSL is also an ASLEC Approved Training Organisation and offers a full range of courses associated with Highway Electrical Sector Academy approval.

SSL's Training meets the requirements of

  • National Highways Sector Scheme 8 (NHSS 8);
  • The Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS);
  • The Knowledge Requirements of the relevant units of CBQ-NVQ Levels 2 and 3 for the Highway Electrical Sector Academy.

SSL is fully equipped to teach all candidates and can tailor a course to meet your particular candidate learning needs.

SSL’s Approved Trainers meet the requirements and standards set by the Highway Electrical Sector Academy in partnership with Lantra Awards and are trained to City & Guilds Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (7303 level 3). As an Approved Training Organisation it is our responsibility to ensure that effective training is achieved to industry wide standards. On completion of courses an assessment will take place leading to successful trainees receiving a Lantra Awards Certificate.
